12 Million Apple UDIDs Stolen

An anti-security group hacked into a computer which they believe belonged to a member of the FBI and discovered 12 million apple UDID numbers we recorded on the laptop. The hacking group released 1 million of the recorded UDID numbers they discovered to the internet.

There are two main questions to ask regarding this story... (a) Why did the FBI have 12 million apple UDID numbers in their possesion? & (b) Should I be concerned that my UDID number may be among those released?

Question (a): It is currently unclear why the FBI would have 12 million UDID numbers. The FBI has denied that the hacked laptop was theirs and that they wouldn't have those private company records in the first place.
